Solution 1: Ping the Server to Check the Connectivity

Step 1-Find the Server Computer Name

  • Press Windows logo+R.

  • The above step will open the run dialogue box.

  • Now, type CMD and press 'OK.'

  • Enter ipconfig /all.

  • After that, hit 'Enter.'

  • Note down the 'Host Name' (server name)


Step 2- After Identifying the Name, Ping Server

  • Type ping [name of your server].

  • Hit 'Enter.'


Step 3- Check For Replies For Each Packet

  • If you get a reply for each packet, that means the computer is connected to the network.

Solution 1: Do A Wildcard Search For All Company Files

  • Navigate to the server computer and then open the search bar.

  • After that, do a wildcard search for all company files. You can do this by typing one of the following in the search bar that you have opened.

Note: Ensure adding an Asterisk (*) before the extension type.

  • *.qbw (Working Files)

  • *.qbb (Backup Files)

  • *.qba (Accountants Copy Files)

  • *.qbx (Accountants Transfer Files)

  • *.qby (Accountants Change Files)

  • After you get the file, note the file's location.

  • Now, access the file from the correct location.
