Launch the QuickBooks Database Server Manager on your server with the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
Step 1: On your server, download and install the QuickBooks Tools Hub
The QuickBooks Tool Hub helps fix common errors. To use the tool hub, close QuickBooks. For the best experience, you must use Tool Hub on Windows 10, 64-bit.
Close QuickBooks and download the updated version of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Now, save the file to an easily reachable location (like your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop). Note: In case you already have Tool Hub installed, figure out the version. For this, click on the Home tab and you will find the version at the bottom.
Now, launch the downloaded file of Tool Hub (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
Adhere to instructions on the screen and install the application while agreeing to the terms and conditions.
Once the installation is complete, you may access the tool hub by double-clicking the shortcut on your Windows desktop.
Note: If you cannot find the shortcut, just type "QuickBooks Tool Hub" into Windows's search bar and choose it from the results.

Step 2: On your server, run the QuickBooks Database Server Manager from the tool hub
The QuickBooks company file (or files) is on the server computer and the PCs connected to the networks are your workstations.
From the QuickBooks Tools Hub, click on Network Issues and select QuickBooks Database Server Manager. If QuickBooks is not already installed on your server, a request to do so will appear.
Click on the option Start Scan if you see your company file folder(s), inside the QuickBooks Database Server Manager. If you do not, browse to the location of your company file and then click on the option Start Scan.
The firewall permissions will be automatically adjusted by QuickBooks Database Server Manager. On completing the scanning, close the window.
Launch QuickBooks on the PCs where the QB Error H202 message appears. Select File, following Switch to Multi-user Mode. Ensure to check your server computer too.
Step 3: From the Tool Hub, launch the File Doctor
Proceed with Tool Hub > Company File Issues.
Click on Run QuickBooks File Doctor. It can take a minute for it to open. Note: Search for QuickBooks Desktop File Doc if the QuickBooks File Doctor does not open, and open it manually.
Select your company file in QuickBooks File Doctor. Click on Browse and search for your file if you do not see your file.
Choose Check your file and Network (the top option) and hit on Continue.
Enter the admin’s QuickBooks password and click on Next.
If your workstations entered multi-user mode with no problems, then the QuickBooks error H202 has been resolved.
